In 1921 Charles Large, a solicitor, and George Fryer, a surveyor for Swaffham Urban District council lived and worked here.

G.T Rickwood, haulage contractor, from Chatteris 1946 to at least mid 50s. Did either of these name the house?
This section is completed with an office property which has a number of companies registered to it.
According to the 1839 map the firm of Frederick Skill (printers in 1820) and John Gowing was also part of this group. Frederick was an artist, engraver and illustrator, whereas John was one of several printers, publishers and printers.
He was declared bankrupt in 1850 and both disappeared from Swaffham about that time.
Much of this row of houses was bought by A.C.Williamson & Son, Necton in 1974. Currently the buildings are as indicated left. A number of other companies are registered from these premises. It may also be that Chatteris and Brandon Houses are 30 and 28 respectively.
