The Shambles

Early Occupants

In 1845 this was the home and shop of Robert Feltman and another but so far he cannot be traced.

Late C18, converted to shop mid C19.
Rendered and colour-washed brick.
Pantiled roof. Grade II listed

The Shambles

Later Occupants

For many years this shop was linked with no.14 next door as a Banners/Mace grocery store but when Banners closed in 1979 they were once again separated.

Holidays are a bit more expensive today!

In 1974 Premier Travel arrived in Swaffham at no.4 Marketplace but moved to its present location in 1981.
