C19. Rendered and colour-washed brick and flint; roof of black- glazed pantiles. Two storeys and dormer attic in 3-window range. Ground floors opened out for retail areas. Grade II listed. This building and no.93 appear to have been one house until sometime between 1921 and 1939.
In 1939 Edmund Cooper, who was previously a fishmonger at no. 93, is now a public works contractor’s labourer sharing the house with Harry Dixon, a hairdresser. The whole house is called “Olivedale”
Harry died in 1976 but during the 70s W.H.Smith opened a shop “Swaffham Old Book and Print Shop” on these premises.
In 1985 it was the turn of Gala which catered for all youngsters but ran a special line for premature babies clothes which were difficult to find.
In 2010 Breckland Oestopath opened with Sarah Babington and Steven Tongue, treating patients with many diverse conditions and injuries.
